Perennials for Shade harsh dry

Most shade plants prefer moist soil in the shade so dry is a particular challenge for the gardener. Many shade trees have root systems that spread over the crown and roots of strong competitors for soil nutrients and moisture.

You are more likely to dry shade under trees with wide spreading, shallow roots, such as Norway maple, beech, willow, and of course find evergreen trees. What can plant in dry shade?

The following plants are awake a dry, shadedGarden - which does not mean that they prefer dry, only that he would do better in dry conditions than other shade plants. I find that the plants are sold in small jars from four inches to stow easily in the roots of larger trees. The smallest hole facility, unless it has an impact on roots.

Make sure your new plants and water in the first months while they are always well defined. Then you give your plants the best opportunity possible in dry shadeConditions, is water deeply and fertilize once a month during the growing season.
